Is anyone here happily married to a Japanese woman?

Posting from a throwaway here. I’ve been living in Japan for a few years now, dating a wonderful Japanese girl.
She’s been dropping hints that she wants to get married to me and I am very tempted by the idea.

But I have a lot of other foreign friends who are married to Japanese women, and almost all of them are miserable.
They tell me that things change after marriage, and furthermore after she has kids.
Apparently Japanese girls turn into mothers and the relationship changes.
I’ve heard lots of stories of their wives becoming demanding, bossy, and controlling after marriage and kids.
And pretty much all the guys are dealing with a sexless relationship as well.
They’ve all warned me about getting married to a Japanese woman. Rather, all of them have said “don’t do it”.
